Heinrich Friedman was NOT born 13 March 1878 in Czernowitz, Austria. I know this after painstakingly searching every single handwritten [in Latin and German], Czernowitz birth record from 1871 through 1881. There were no matches of a Heinrich son of Leopold Friedmann or Bella Piastetski in any variation. I kept my eye open for any of his siblings to no avail. Next on the Agenda....order microfilm for Vienna births and hope to find him there.
