This man was my great-grandfather on my mother's side. He was born about 1878 and died 1934 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, USA. He went by the name of Henry Franklin Short. His past was shrouded in mystery from his seven children and numerous grandchildren. It has been a personal quest of mine to find the origins of this man who went by the name of Henry Short. Together with the help of my mother, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles and DNA testing we have started to create a profile for this man.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if you will receive a notification for this since it's been 8 years... but Henry (Heinrich) is my great great grandfather and my family recently discovered all of this information as well! Not sure if my family members have ever seen your blog! I made an ancestry account yesterday because I was curious about multiple aspects of my family. We must be related somehow!
